Giant Snickerdoodles

Wreathmakers Brings you a delicious traditional cookie… Snicker-Doodles

Snicker-doodles are an old fashioned cookie that have a sugar cinnamon coating and a sweet and buttery flavor. They are mostly noted by their crinkled, cinnamon and sugar coated top. Their great for the holidays or any time of the year.
Snicker-Doodles Ingredients:
1C. Butter Softened
1 1/2 C. + 2 T. Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 C. Flour
3 t. Cream Of tartar
1 t. Baking Soda
1/4 t. Salt
2 t. Cinnamon
Making Snicker-Doodles:
In a large mixer bowl with mixer at medium speed, cream butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture until well blended.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine remaining 2 T. sugar and cinnamon in a flat open bowl.
Shape dough into 2″ balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar until coated.
Place 3″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 12-15 min until golden brown
